Q. Do crystals really heal? A. Yes and no. They assist the body's own healing energy. Each of them works along with your body's own vibration and healing energy in regaining your health and well-being. Q. What are crystals? What are they made from? A. Crystals embody the Earth's healing energy within them. Harvested from deep within the Earth, they have been resonating to the Earth's unique energy for millions of years. Because they developed as the Earth was formed, they contain the DNA of the Earth itself. Q. How do crystals heal? A. Each crystal has its own energy or vibration. They heal holistically, working on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of being. When we choose a crystal and merge its energy with our own, the healing begins. Our own energy is gently raised or lowered to the crystal's vibration, clearing energy meridians and pathways in our bodies. Crystals can assist one in contacting the perfection of the Divine and can allow one to reach the higher spiritual levels. Q. How do I choose a crystal? A. Most crystals choose you. What I find helpful is to look up my situation in this book.
You will find several suggestions to help you. From there, just ask your own intuition and higher self for help in finding the crystal that will help you with your present condition. Q. Can I really communicate with a crystal? A. Yes, by meditating with the crystal and consciously intending to find a solution to a situation or receive healing, you are communicating with the crystal's own healing energy. Hold a crystal in your hands and focus on the crystal and its individual healing powers during entry to the meditative state. Visualize the crystal with your mind's eye. Allow the crystal to connect with your spiritual energy. This will program or attune the crystal to your energy. Q. How long does it take to feel the crystal's healing energy? A. The crystal's energy can either be felt immediately or can take some time. It will all depend on the energies of the person and of the crystal as to how long the vibrational energy will take to merge with your own. The crystals will not perform all the healing on their own. They should spend time with you; resonating within your body's energy field. Q. Do crystals need cleaning? A. Yes, their job is to absorb and transmit energy, sometimes becoming saturated by these energies. Regular cleansing of crystals used for massage or healing is required to keep these tools in top form. Cleaning Your Healing Crystals
Crystals worn on the body should be cleaned once a week.
Crystals used as room decoration should be cleaned once a month.
Crystals used in healing should be cleaned after each session.
Tumbled stones, spheres or wands used with oils for massage should be wiped with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel
to remove the carrier oil from the surface immediately following healing session.
To further cleanse and energize the crystals I use some Aromatherapy Crystal Cleaning Spray (recipe below).
Aromatherapy Crystal Cleaning Spray
Put 1 tablespoon of vodka into a 4 oz spray bottle.
Add 30 drops of essential oil of Tea Tree
Fill with purified water.
Shake well before each use.
Place crystals on paper towels and spray lightly, after about 30 minutes, turn crystals over and spray lightly
on other side. After 30 minutes, wipe clean with paper towel and buff to a shine.
