Application of Essential Oil Blends
    Aromatherapy blends can be applied to most domesticated animals. Dogs and horses respond exceptionally well to essential oils. Cats, unfortunately, do not appreciate having oil applied to their coat.
    Several essential oils are combined in a carrier massage oil to create an aromatic and synergistic blend beneficial for relieving symptoms as described below.
    Part the hair around the area and use a dropper to apply a few drops of the blend directly to the skin. The same procedure can be followed for heavy-coated breeds of dogs also.
    Apply oil blend sparingly to affected area 3 or 4 times a day. In cases of pain or inflammation use very light pressure, let the essential oils do the healing work for you.
